Citizen Custom V2
The Citizen Custom V2 was introduced by Citizen as a continuation of the RallyCustom line in 1970. The Custom V2 has the same size, stainless steel case, and design as the first-generation model released a year earlier. Changes have been made to the dial and movement. The Citizen Custom V2 features a more modern movement, beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour (vph), 23 jewels, the caliber 7290. The 7290 movement also features a stop-seconds function for calculating calculations.
The beautiful dial changes color depending on the light, from almost black to shimmering in the sunlight; I've tried to capture this in the photos. The stainless steel case and bracelet show signs of wear, including some scratches and abrasions, typical of its age. The original Citizen bracelet was shortened by the previous owner; unfortunately, the links were lost, so a clasp extension had to be added. This bracelet can now be comfortably worn on wrists up to 18 cm in circumference.
The inner bezel rotates smoothly, and the calendar functions function correctly. The movement was serviced in November 2025. Case size Diameter excluding crown: 42 x 46 mm Height: 13 mm Lugs: 18 mm.
